The Supervisory Board of KAS BANK is pleased to announce the nomination of J.H.G. (Hans) Snijders (1956) as a Supervisor at KAS BANK N.V. An Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting is to be held on 2nd September 2016 and this will formalise a decision on the appointment of Mr Snijders.

The proposed appointment of Mr Snijders fills a board vacancy created on 20th April 2016 by the departure of Jean Frijns, who served as Supervisor at KAS BANK for eight years. KAS BANK’s regulator, De Nederlandsche Bank, has given approval for the appointment of Mr Snijders, who holds Dutch citizenship and does not own any KAS BANK shares.
Mr Snijders brings his broad wealth of experience in financial services to the role. He has built a strong background in ICT and Operations, as well as an extensive knowledge of the pensions industry. From 2009 until the start of this year he was CEO of Achmea Investment Management, in addition to his role as CEO of Syntrus Achmea until the start of 2015. Mr Snijders was a member of the Executive Board of Ordina N.V. from 2000 to 2006 and member of the Managing Board of Relan N.V from 1997 to 2000.
Mr Snijders began his career at Pink Roccade and ASC B.V. in ICT and municipal government followed by roles in ICT and social security. Mr Snijders is currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance, member of the Supervisory Board of the local Rabobank PeelNoord, and Director/Owner of Cquinn Consulting B.V.
