The Supervisory Board of KAS BANK N.V. plans to appoint Sikko van Katwijk as the new Chairman of KAS BANK’s Board of Directors. He succeeds Albert Röell, who will be appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of KPMG Nederland as of November 1st 2015.

Mr Röell will soon be resigning his duties and responsibilities as Chairman of KAS BANK. The proposed appointment of Mr Van Katwijk is subject to the approval of the regulator.
With this appointment, KAS BANK’s Board of Directors will consist of Sikko van Katwijk (Chairman and Chief Commercial Officer), Jaap Witteveen (Chief Operating Officer) and a new Chief Finance and Risk Officer (CFRO). KAS BANK expects to provide more information on the appointment of a new CFRO soon.
Sikko van Katwijk has been a member of the Board of Directors and Chief Commercial Officer of KAS BANK since July 1st 2009. He worked for KAS BANK during the period 1989 to 2001, as Head of Institutional Relationship Management and Director of KAS BANK’s London branch, amongst other positions. From 2001 until his appointment as Director at KAS BANK, he held various international management positions at Citigroup Inc.
