Ron Teerlink proposed for appointment to KAS BANK’s Supervisory Board

Mr. R. (Ron) Teerlink (1961) is to be proposed for appointment to the Supervisory Board of KAS BANK N.V. Mr. Teerlink is member of the Executive Committee and Chief Administrative Officer of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc. The General Meeting of Shareholders of KAS BANK on 21 April 2010 will be asked to approve Mr. Teerlink’s proposed appointment.

Mr. Teerlink started his career with ABN AMRO in 1986 as IT/Systems analyst and held various management positions before becoming Chief Operating Officer Wholesale Client Business in 2002 and Chief Executive Officer Group Shared Services with ABN AMRO in 2004. Mr. Teerlink joined ABN AMRO’s Management Board in January 2006. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of Equens SE.

The proposed appointment of Mr. Teerlink will fill the vacancy created by the departure of Mrs. H. Donkervoort. The Nederlandsche Bank has approved the proposed appointment. Mr. Teerlink has Dutch nationality and holds no KAS BANK shares.
