Quote Albert Röell, chairman of KAS BANK’s Managing Board: “We are extremely pleased with the proposed appointment of Jean Frijns as supervisory director at KAS BANK. As former managing director of one of the largest global pension funds, he is an expert in the Dutch and European pension industry and international financial markets. With his broad experience in the area of national and international investing and international enterprise he is a suitable candidate within the required profile as new supervisory director. We expect that Mr. Frijns can make a valuable contribution to the further development of our specialised wholesale services within Europe.”
Quote Jean Frijns:“I am very honoured with my proposed appointment as supervisory director at KAS BANK. In my former position as member of the General Management of ABP, I have got to know KAS BANK as an independent specialist and market leader within the Dutch and European securities industry. The strategy of autonomous growth within Europe offers many opportunities and challenges, particularly in the area of risk management and management information for institutional investors and financial institutions. In consultation with my fellow supervisory directors I would like to focus on the further expansion of KAS BANK as European securities specialist.”
Jean Frijns has the Dutch nationality and does not hold any KAS BANK shares. His proposed appointment is subject to approval of the supervisory institution and will fill the vacancy arising as a result of the departure of Mr. P. Ribourdouille. Mr. Ribourdouille has been supervisory director at KAS BANK for a period of eight years, of which the last six years as chairman of the Supervisory Board.
